Assassin’s Creed: Lineage hits YouTube

Ubisoft has released the first of three episodes from the new Assassin’s Creed: Lineage short movies.

The first part can be found on the YouTube homepage in eight countries for 24 hours only.

The movies are developed by Ubisoft’s Hybride Technologies, the visual effects specialists behind 300 and Sin City, and combines live action with CGI.

The short films are part of Ubisoft’s pre-launch marketing activity for Assassin’s Creed II, introducing gamers to characters they will meet in the game – which launches at retail on November 20th.

Ubisoft is excited to share a new Assassin’s Creed experience with the public," stated Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot.

"The Assassin’s Creed Lineage film series is part of Ubisoft’s ongoing efforts to reinforce its intellectual properties by bringing them to multiple entertainment mediums, providing gamers with a more immersive experience when they play as Ezio, the master assassin of Assassin’s Creed II."
