Meet the BBC team this month to find out how you could make title based on the broadcaster's biggest properties

BBC seeking game dev partners

Question: Why isn’t there a Great British Bake Off video game? Answer: Because the BBC hasn’t found the right partner yet.

Question: Is your studio that partner?

BBC Worldwide’s Game team will be visiting London Mobile Games Week later this month, seeking any development and partnership opportunities that will benefit their biggest IP.

And that’s not just limited to big hitters like Doctor Who, Top Gear and Sherlock. According to a BBC statement, the broadcaster is keen for devs to "explore the BBC IPs past, present and future… from timeless classics to the latest shows, across the years and across the genres".

The BBC team will be holding two breakfast sessions to showcase its properties on Tuesday, January 20th and Wednesday, January 21st – both from 9am to 10am.

These sessions will be informal, open forums where the team is keen to meet developers, publishers and other partners. They will be held at BBC Worldwide at 33 Foley Street, London, W1W 7TL.

The guest list will be formed on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you’re interested, email Lynn Daniel via lynn@brown-betty.co.uk.

Come on, devs – let’s make this the year that Lara Croft goes head-to-head with Mary Berry.
