Beyond: Two Souls sells 1m copies

PS3-exclusive Beyond: Two Souls has sold more than 1m copies, developer Quantic Dream has announced.

The studio revealed the news in a ‘word cloud’ post on its website, stating that the figure was reached just ahead of this past Christmas and thanking fans for their support.

Beyond: Two Souls launched last October in North America, Europe, Australia, and Japan. Games Industry points out that the title is performing slightly behind Quantic Dream’s previous title, Heavy Rain – which hit the 1m mark in two months, following its February 2010 launch.

Quantic Dream is rumoured to be working on an unannounced PS4-exclusive, but no mention of the supposed effort has surfaced since early last year.
