Big Hero 6 iOS game has a £49.99 IAP

Disney has gone big on the charges for the in-app purchases in the smartphone spin-off game for Big Hero 6.

Apps Playground reports that among the game’s IAPs is an eye-watering 49.99 purchase of the in-game Prism currency.

iTunes shows that other denominations are available at 0.79, 2.99, 6.99, 12.99 and 25.99.

Other Disney titles, such as Frozen Free Fall and Olaf’s Adventures, offer lower-cost IAPs, although there are plenty of Disney apps out there, such as Disney Storytime, that also offer high-price purchases.

Big Hero 6 Bot Fight is described as a match-three puzzle adventure” much like the successful Puzzle & Dragons. Like GungHo’s franchise it will also offer weekly events.
