Big Hero 6 will feature in Kingdom Hearts III

Disney’s 2014 animated film Big Hero 6 will get its own dedicated world in Square Enix’s upcoming RPG Kingdom Hearts III.

The news was confirmed at Disney’s D23 expo over the weekend.

The action will take place in the movie’s San Fransokyo city, with Hiro and Baymax confirmed – although appearances from other favourites such as Fred, GoGo, Wasabi and Honey Lemon would not come as a surprise.

Interestingly the plot ties in directly with the events of the film, including a villain coming from some of the loose ends left hanging from the aftermath of its dramatic conclusion.

Kingdom Hearts III, which was announced two years ago, doesn’t yet have a release date.
