Bionic Commando disappoints

Whilst the news from Capcom has been good for its first fiscal quarter of 2010, the publisher has admitted that recent release Bionic Commando has not met the company’s sales expectations.



Bionic Commando shipped just 550,000 units worldwide in the quarter ending June 30th. Of the numbers, Capcom said the title underperformed its expected sales”.

And despite the grip Monster Hunter still keeps on the Japanese charts, Capcom remains frustrated that the IP isn’t replicating that success in Western territories – despite the publisher’s open statement of intent.
