Black Ops Escalation hits Xbox Live

The second map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops is now available to buy on Xbox Live.

Called Escalation, the DLC contains four new online multiplayer maps – Hotel, Stockpile, Zoo and Convoy.

It also contains a new zombie level called Call of the Dead that stars the likenesses of some recognisable names – Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Robert England (Nightmare on Elm Street), Michael Rooker (The Walking Dead) and Danny Trejo (Machete).

The release will arrive on a region-by-region basis. It has already hit the US and should arrive in the UK shortly.

Black Ops: Escalation costs 1200 Microsoft Points (around 10.30).

As part of Microsoft’s timed exclusivity deal with Activision, the content will remain Xbox 360 only for a few weeks before hitting PSN and PC. And of course, PSN still being down will possibly give the Xbox title a significant boost.
