Bravias offer World Cup streaming

Owners of the latest Sony’s IPTV will be able to stream classic World Cup footage direct to their TV via the Bravia Internet Video service.

The content is compatible with its most recent TV sets, including the 3D-ready HX803, and many of the firm’s high-end Blu-ray players. It is not, however, available to PS3 owners.

TechRadar reports that Sony’s selection includes 20 FIFA World Cup Moments and 14 Official World Cup Films, including a colour version of England’s 1966 triumph against Germany.

Other services available on the Bravia Internet Video service include YouTube, LoveFilm and Facebook.
