Bungie confirms Destiny, to be unveiled on 17th February

So, our game is called Destiny” started a post on Bungie’s blog, rather soberly confirming the title of the Halo creator’s next big game.

Alongside the announcement, Bungie has also launched official Facebook, Twitter and Google+ accounts dedicated to Destiny as well as a dedicated forum on Bungie.net.

Destiny is the first game under the ten-year publishing deal Bungie signed with Activision, with reports suggesting that the first game from the franchise, which is set to span several years, will release this year.

Yesterday, Bungie launched an AR mini game hinting that at a proper reveal for Destiny is scheduled for 17th February.
