Call of Duty: Ghosts dated, reveal at Xbox event

Activision has officially announced Call of Duty: Ghosts for PC, PS3, Xbox 360 and next-gen consoles a few days after it was leaked by a couple of retailers.

The announcement was supplemented with a short live action teaser trailer, which you can check out below.

The Call of Duty-Xbox partnership that has seen DLC appear first on Xbox 360 looks set to continue into the next generation, as Activision is teasing a full reveal for Ghosts at Microsoft’s event on 21st May, where it will unveil the new Xbox.

It’s Infinity Ward’s first Call of Duty game since 2007’s Call of Duty 4 to not carry the Modern Warfare moniker, and it is also rumoured to be based on a new engine, so this could well be the series reboot many have been asking for.

Call of Duty: Ghosts will hit stores on 5th November.
