Street Fighter studio works with Aurora Feint to create iPhone and iPod titles

Capcom launches two OpenFeint titles

Capcom and Aurora Feint have announced the launch of two OpenFeint-enabled titles for the iPhone and iPod Touch, Dark Void Zero and Hatchlings, a shooter and a puzzler respectively.

The companies have stated that both titles will include key OpenFeint online gaming services, including global leaderboards and achievements.

OpenFeint will also feature both titles in its Game Spotlight for two weeks.

"Capcom Interactive has been evaluating the online mobile gaming space for quite some time now and we think that OpenFeint has a great social games platform,” said Capcom’s Head of Americas and EMEA Studio Manabu Seko.

"We look forward to taking advantage of OpenFeint’s social, gaming and marketing features to reach their 21 million players.”

Aurora Feint CEO Jason Citron added: "We’re excited to help bring Capcom’s first OpenFeint-enabled games to our online gaming platform.”

“Dark Void Zero and Hatchlings are great online games and we look forward to working with great publishers and developers like Capcom in the future to integrate key components of our OpenFeint X platform social gaming services like virtual goods,” he concluded.
