Charlotte Harrington named as new Tesco entertainment boss

The UK’s leading supermarket Tesco has named Charlotte Harrington as its new home entertainment and books boss.

She was until this month working as Tesco’s multi-channel general merchandise boss – a position she had held since October 2012.

Prior to that Harrington worked as Tesco’s toys, nursey and sport category manager, a job she took after vacating her senior buying manager role in June 2010 in which she had worked for nearly nine years.

She joined Tesco from WH Smith in late 2004.

Harrington replaces Rob Salter who, as revealed by MCV in December, left Tesco in January after five years with company.
