China gets three new PS4 bundles

Sony is hoping for a foot-up in the Chinese Christmas market with the launch of three new PS4 hardware bundles this week.

Power Up Gaming reports that the SKUs come themed in gold, silver and red. Each includes a normal black Slim console, a black DualShock 4 and a coloured second DualShock 4. Also in the box are four games and a three month PSN subscription.

Each retails for Y2,299, which is about 266 at current exchange rates. That’s just below the price that Sony cut the machine to in the region last year.

The gold and silver bundles are out now, although the red SKU won’t arrive until December 31st.

Neither Sony nor Microsoft have managed to make any significant inroads into China thus far, where the market is heavily skewed toward online PC gaming.
