Classic adventure game Another World hits PS4 next week

1991 Amiga and Atari ST release Another World is landing on PlayStation 4 consoles next week, publisher The Digital Lounge has announced.

PlayStation blog reveals Eric Chahi’s classic adventure game will arrive for Sony’s new hardware on June 25th, packing redrawn backdrops and a cinematic soundtrack.

Though Another World (also known as Out of This World and Outer World) has seen fairly recent launches on PC and iOS platforms, next week’s arrival will mark the game’s first launch on consoles since the 90’s – with the lone exception of last year’s Atari JAGUAR release.

Another World on PS4 will also support cross-save and cross-buy functionality with its upcoming PS3 and PS Vita editions, but no word yet on when the game is expected to arrive for Sony’s other platforms.
