Cross-platform Vita/PS3 RPG renamed Warrior’s Lair

Sony has dropped Ruin as the title for its innovative cross-platform RPG.

A PlayStation.com listing reveals the game will now be titled Warrior’s Lair, according to IGN. No release date has been set, but it is due before the end of the year.

Warrior’s Lair was announced at E3 and works across both Vita and PS3 thanks to cloud saving.

Handheld players will be able to explore typical medieval monster-ridden dungeons, before picking up exactly where they left off on the console version.

There will also be a mutliplayer mode in which players can raid each other’s trap laiden lairs in order to steal their plunder.

Warrior’s Lair is being developed by Idol Minds – the studio behind Pain – and Sony San Diego.
