Second game project for the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 musician

Crysis scores Inception composer Hans Zimmer

Hans Zimmer, the world-renowned composer for blockbuster films, has written the score for Crytek’s major triple-A project Crysis.

Zimmer has written music for films such as Inception and The Dark Knight, and in 2009 he co-wrote music for his first game project; Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.

“I was drawn to Crysis 2 because of Crytek’s passion for the project and the world they created. And I am very happy with the outcome of our collaboration,” he said.

Crysis 2 is Crytek’s first flagship title built using CryEngine 3. Electronic Arts will release the retail copies on March 25th, as part of the EA Partners program.
