Dead Rising 2 to go multi-platform?

Famitsu

, Capcom is well underway on multi-platform sequels to Lost Planet and Dead Rising.

In an interview translated by Kotaku, Capcom veteran Keiji Inafune said: We’re finally putting out new Dead Rising and Lost Planet games! As a main principle we’re thinking about multi-platform, and expanding upon both slightly from the Xbox 360 version.”

The news that Capcom will be looking to release its biggest titles on multiple platforms is nothing new, with the publisher stating in September last year that it has adopted a multi-platform strategy to ‘counter soaring costs of software development for next generation consoles.’
