Develop Awards 2016: The Night In Pictures

More than 500 developers, service providers and industry figureheads flocked to Brighton this week for the 2016 Develop Awards.

Winners this year included CD Projekt Red, Sam Barlow, Space Ape Games, The Chinese Room, Devolver Digital, Unreal Engine 4, Rocksteady, Triangular Pixels – and, of course, Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima received the biggest honour of the night: Development Legend.

The triumphant developers and service firms were handed their awards during an awards ceremony at the Hilton Brighton Metropole.

The announcement comes as Ubisoft joins as the headline sponsor and as Into Games confirms that 11 winners from the previous 2025 cohort have been placed in paid roles in the UK games industry through its Boost placement programme.
