Driver: San Francisco delayed to 2011

Ubisoft has delayed Driver: San Francisco until early 2011.

The title has been pushed back to the first quarter of next year – the fourth quarter of the publisher’s financial year – to avoid the crowded seasonal selling period.

In a trading statement, Ubisoft said: Due to the competitive market at Christmas, Driver – previously scheduled for release during the third quarter – will now launch during the fourth quarter of the fiscal year.”

The publisher has previously delayed Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier for similar reasons.
