Publisher reveals new online persistent world racing IP

E3 2013: Ubisoft unveils The Crew

Ubisoft has revealed its first new IP of E3 2013 with The Crew.

The racing title is in development at Reflections, and is slated for an early 2014 release on Xbox One and PlayStation 4

The game puts players in an online persistent world that seeks to blur the lines between single player and multi-player as users can connect with friends to complete missions cooperatively or tackle objectives solo without ever hitting a login screen.

Groups of friends can even compete against each other on the fly, without the need for a lobby.
