Microsoft's next-gen console to retail for $499 in the US

E3 2013: Xbox One to launch worldwide in November for £430

Microsoft’s will launch Xbox One will this November worldwide, the company has revealed on stage at E3 2013.

The console will go on sale for $499 in the US, €499 in Europe and £429 in the UK.

The console will come bundled with the next Kinect and an Xbox One controller.

It will be accompanied by launch titles including Forza 5, Dead Rising 3 and Ryse.

Xbox One’s launch price a significant step up from it’s predecessor, Xbox 360, which launched for £280 in 2005. What’s more the UK price is currently equivalent to $668, meaning Microsoft is charging more for UK players to join its next-gen club.
