New feature a 'breakthrough in latency free, multi-device online gaming', says Ubisoft exec

E3 2014: Just Dance 2015 lets thousands play simultaneously with mobile phones

The next Just Dance game will allow users to control their movements by using their mobile phone.

Users playing Just Dance can use their phone to interact with the game on a TV, Smart TV or tablet screen.

Ubisoft Paris executive producer Jason Altman said the feature was a “breakthrough in latency free, multi-device online gaming”.

Altman also said the feature meant there was now no limit to the number of players who could play the game simultaneously. He claimed even as many as 20,000 people could play it at once in a stadium.

Just Dance 2015 is set to be released in October later this year and will launch on all platforms.
