Washington studio won't demonstrate new projects

E3 no-show for Valve

Valve has alerted the media it will not be showing any new projects at E3.

In September last year, the studio said it had “three pretty big surprises in the next 12 months at least."

The firm recently told Develop it is not working on building an entirely new version of the Source Engine, though said it has over twenty people working on upgrading the tech.

Company president Gabe Newell also recently claimed the company has moved beyond the episodic model, and will dedicate much of its resources to updating current games.
