EA confirms Xbox One FIFA 14 controller bug

FIFA 14 owners on Xbox One have been warned of two bugs that are currently affecting the game.

The first occurs if gamers boot FIFA 14 while two controllers are connected that are both assigned to profiles. The problem can be avoided by having only one controller connected when launching the game and then connecting the second once it has loaded.

The second bug occurs if the console is left inactive long enough for it to sleep into ‘sleep’ mode while the game is running and on the title screen. Upon returning to it, users will be unable to access online features. To avoid this simply don’t leave the game on the title screen.

Both bugs will apparently be fixed in an upcoming patch due shortly.

EA adds that feedback from owners of the last-gen and PC versions have helped it releases fixes that has seen the game’s crash rate on those formats fall 71 per cent.
