EA: Godfather 2 delayed

Electronic Arts has revealed that its Godfather 2 release will be delayed until its fiscal year 2010.

The firm’s CEO John Riccitiello said the move would give the company more time for longer lead marketing”.

The game was initially due to release next month in the UK.

EA also announced that the PC release of long-awaited RPG Dragon Age has been moved to Q3 FY10.

The moves form part of the company’s new plan to get back on track, after it was announced that its disappointing Q3 would lead to further job cuts.
