EA: Mass Effect II and Bad Company 2 announced

EA has announced as part of

its latest financial posting

that it will release Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Mass Effect II in Q4 this year – adding that the latter title will now be a multi-platform venture.

The pair will join a number of others in EA’s 2009 release schedule, including Fight Night 4, the new Harry Potter title, Dante’s Inferno and the recently announced Need for Speed trio.

Also confirmed was a Wii version of sci-fi survival horror Dead Space.

Also on the way is EA’s casual pairing of EA Sports Tennis and EA Sports Active. Harmonix’s Beatles title has been confirmed for the company’s 2010 financial year, meaning it will be with us before March 31st next year.

The publisher also confirmed that The Sims 3, Godfather 2 and BioWare’s Dragon Age have all been delayed from Q1 2009 to some time before the end of EA’s next financial year on March 31st 2010. EA stated that the Godfather title has been put back to provide better marketing opportunities whilst Dragon Age has been delayed to allow for it to release on console alongside PC.
