EA reveals subscription EA Access program for Xbox One

Xbox One owners will soon be able to access an EA subscription service.

EA Access costs $4.99 per month. For that members get unlimited access to select titles in what is being called The Vault – which currently contains FIFA 14, Battlefield 4, Madden NFL 25 and Peggle 2 – as well as a 10 per cent discount on digital purchases of full Xbox One titles, DLC and in-game currency.

Alternatively EA Access can be had for $29.99 per year.

New titles will also be available to EA Access members five days ahead of their official release as well as play pre-release trial versions of games.

Users can buy membership directly through their Xbox One or, at some point in the near future, at GameStop outlets.

EA Access will go live on Xbox One in the US, UK and other territories this summer. UK prices are yet to be confirmed.

The publisher adds that Titanfall is "excluded from all EA Access features".
