Former Battlefield boss joins Paradox Interactive

EA Visceral producer quits after new child

Gordon Van Dyke, the former producer at EA studios DICE and Visceral, has departed from the publisher to join Paradox Interactive.

Van Dyke explained his departure was primarily due to family matters.

“During my time back in California [with Visceral], I married my girlfriend from Sweden and we had a baby,” he told Joystiq.

“We decided it was best to raise her in Sweden.”

Van Dyke joins Swedish studio Paradox as senior producer.

It is unknown why he hasn’t returned to Sweden to work at EA studio DICE, which is based in Stockholm.
