EA: "We’re never 100% happy with FIFA"

They may be the highest rated sports games in history, but EA is never truly happy with its FIFA titles.

FIFA 14 producer Sebastian Enrique says the development studio is always critical about its output, and that this attitude is why the firm, and the franchise, has been so successful.

We know that everything could be better,” Enrique told MCV.

That’s our mind-set. Everything can be improved. That mind-set helps us to create a better game year after year. If we were 100 per cent happy with something, we wouldn’t be in this business."

He added: We are only happy on the day the game is launched. The next day we are grilling ourselves because we want to raise the quality bar even higher.”
