The first details of Epic’s new game that ISN’T Gears of War 3 have finally emerged – it’s called Bulletstorm, it will be published by EA and it’s co-developed by Painkiller studio People Can Fly.
Revealed on the cover of the next edition of US mag Game Informer, it’s set in the 26th century with gamers playing the part of a former member of a Black Ops unit known as Dead Echo who’s on the run.
Bulletstorm is due out on Xbox 360 and PC in fiscal Q4 2011.

The Danish publicly traded computer game company Trophy Games is acquiring the French game developer Playrion from Paradox Interactive. This is the largest acquisition in Trophy Games' history and will form the foundation for a new series of simulation games. At the same time, the company is raising its revenue expectations for the year to €22.8-€24.1 million . With the acquisition of French Playrion, Trophy Games gains 30 new employees and a new foundation for future growth.
