Former company president Darrell Rodriguez joins social game outfit

Ex-LucasArts man joins Republic of Fun

The short-serving president of LucasArts has joined social games publisher Republic of Fun.

In May Darrell Rodriguez resigned from his position at the studio, reportedly along with several members of his executive team, having served just under two years at the company.

“Social gaming is one of the biggest drivers of the explosive growth in social media and Republic of Fun is getting it right by empowering the people that are passionate about games to have a say in which games they get to play,” said Rodriguez.

“I feel privileged to join this exciting and dynamic team and look forward to working with Mike and the Board during the next phase of the company’s growth.”
