FFXIV free trial extended again

Publisher Square Enix has announced that it to extend the free trial period for MMO Final Fantasy XIV for a second time.

It’s the second 30-day extension the firm has offered gamers following the decision to do the same thing this time last month.

We are adamant that you should be given the opportunity to experience these changes firsthand before deciding to fully commit to the game,” the game’s official site reads.

We encourage everyone to view today’s post, as well as the previous Topics post from November 11th outlining the development team’s roadmap for the coming months. Further details regarding payment options and future version updates will be posted as they become available.”

Last month CEO Yoichi Wada expressed his determination to get FFXIV back on track.

We’re quickly working on reforms,” he explained. We’d like to put our full power into regaining trust. If we satisfy our users, they will return. On the other hand, once the users say, ‘forget this,’ there’s no turning back. We can only recover our trust so far.”
