GameCrush dating site blown out

A new site that offers gamers the chance to pay for private video links to gamers of the opposite sex has been forced to temporarily close its beta due to an unexpectedly high level of demand.

GameCrush allows gamers to link up to fellow gamers of the opposite sex by paying for a live video link as they play games either on PC or via Xbox Live. Users are able to define whether they want their experience to be ‘flirty’ or ‘dirty’.

The site also offers the chance for users to become ‘PlayDates’. They are then able to promote themselves on the site via a profile page and are paid for the time they spend playing with other users.

The GameCrush Public Beta is temporarily unavailable due to the incredible user response (more than 10,000 inquiries in five minutes),” a statement on the site reads.

We are adding new servers to provide players with the best PlayDate experience possible. Games with GameCrush PlayDates start at $6.60 for ten minutes.”
