GAMESCOM: Scalebound will have four-player co-op, coming late 2016

Platinum Games has revealed that its upcoming title Scalebound will allow up to four players to team up in a new multiplayer mode.

DirectorHideki Kamiya introduced some footage of the action RPG, showing the lead character teaming up with a dragon to battle enemy knights and a beast known as a ‘mantis’.

Players will be able to ride on dragons across a ‘vast open world’, said Kamiya.

After the logo was revealed, a post-scene revealed that a previously unannounced multiplayer mode would let four players team up in order to take down giant monsters.

It was also announced that the game would be coming exclusively to Xbox One in Holiday 2016 – that’s Q4 2016 over here in the UK.
