GAMESCOM: Xbox investing $1m into eSports in biggest-ever drive

Xbox is finally making a serious move into the eSports sector, it seems.

The platform holder has announced the first-ever Halo World Championships, which will be backed by its biggest-ever investment in the pro-gaming space.

This will consist of a one million dollar prize pool for the tournament, which will take place later this year.
