God of War III CE revealed

SCEA has released details of what will most be likely become a highly sought after Ultimate Edition of the upcoming PS3 exclusive God of War III.

Coming in a high-end sculpted replica of Pandora’s Box” the UE will, alongside the game itself, include a number of notable additions. Chief amongst them is a full-length movie documentary, a code to download the game’s soundtrack and access to what is being called the God of War Combat Arena.

Also look out for a limited-edition artbook and further exclusive DLC, such as an in-game Dominus skin for Kratos.

The God of War franchise has an incredibly loyal fanbase and we know they will be extremely excited with all the exclusive content and memorabilia we’ve packed into God of War III Ultimate Edition,” SCEA’s VP of marketing Scott Steinberg stated.

With fans waiting patiently for the arrival of God of War III for the PS3, we wanted to make sure their anticipation was properly rewarded.”

God of War III is due out in March 2010. The Ultimate Edition has been confirmed for all global markets, though only the US price has been named thus far – $99.99.
