Lack of firm denial from search engine firm adds fuel to rumourâ??s fire

Google: ‘No comment’ on Valve acquisition rumours

Google has refused to rule out the possibility that it is to acquire Half Life developer Valve.

When questioned by our sister site MCV on the roaring rumour that it is to announce the buyout of the Steam parent company this week at Austin GDC, a Google spokesperson told us:

“We do not comment on rumour and speculation.”
