Gran Turismo 5 Spec II retail release confirmed

A bonus version of Gran Turismo 5 will zoom to Japan next year but Sony says it has no plans for a UK release at the moment.

Spec II is a boxed release that includes the full Gran Turismo 5 PS3 racing game along with all of its downloadable content, reports Andriasang and Eurogamer. It will hit Japanese shelves on February 2nd, 2012.

The SKU includes all the extra in-game content from the from the version 2.00 update on October 11th, as well as a code to download the Complete Pack which arrived in Japan on October 18th. A demo will make its debut at the Tokyo Motor Show from December 3rd to December 11th.

Sony says it has no plans to release GT5 Spec II in Europe at this time. The racing game originally hit shelves late last year.
