Grand Theft Auto 5 online features to be revealed this week

Rockstar Games will reveal the online features of Grand Theft Auto V later this week, the developer has announced.

The multiplayer features, which are briefly shown at the end of the game’s first gameplay trailer (watch it below), will be unveiled on 15th August.

The reveal will include a gameplay video and will coincide with a bunch of press previews that are scheduled to go live around the same time.

Interestingly, rather than terming it a GTA 5 multiplayer reveal, Rockstar is touting the online portion of the game as Grand Theft Auto Online, suggesting that the online section could be completely separate from the single-player campaign.

Grand Theft Auto 5 is just a little over a month from release. It is headed to PS3 and Xbox 360 on 17th September.
