Guerrilla steps back from Killzone 2

On the same day that a brand new map pack (entitled Napal & Cordite) is due for release, Dutch games developer Guerrilla Games has stated that it is to step away from Killzone 2.

Speaking on the EU PlayStation Blog, the developer’s Seb Downie stated: Right now we’re going to take a step back from Killzone 2,” he said.

We’ve been working non-stop since the disc version was released on patches, DLC and killzone.com updates, so need some time to reflect on what is actually out there.”

Whilst that doesn’t necessarily mean an end to any future DLC for the title, it suggests at the very least there may be a bit of a wait.
