Heavy Rain: Move Edition dated

PS3 owners will be able to play Heavy Rain with a new Move-compatible control scheme as early as next week.

Through its EU PlayStation Blog, Sony has announced a free downloadable patch that supports the motion controller will be available on September 22nd.

Alternatively, those who have yet to pick up the best-selling Quantic Dream game will be able to buy the special Heavy Rain: Move Edition.

Due for release on October 8th, this new SKU features the full game – complete with Move controls – and a bonus disc featuring The Taxidermist DLC, three PSN themes, the game’s soundtrack and Making Of videos.

Sony has also announced a demo of Heavy Rain: Move Edition will be available on the PlayStation Store tomorrow.
