HMV hosting official Diablo III launch event

Blizzard has confirmed that HMV’s London Oxford Street store will host the official UK launch event for upcoming PC title Diablo III.

The fun will kick off at 10:00pm on May 14th with the game going on sale at 11:00pm.

There will be a number of giveaways and competitions and some of the game’s dev team will be at hand to sign copies.

A number of other retailers around the UK are also expected to open their doors at 11:00pm to satisfy those eager to get their hands on the game the very moment it goes on sale.

There will also be special events in the US, France, Germany, Sweden, Poland and South Korea.
