IN PICTURES: The UK Vita launch

Hundreds of UK games stores opened their doors at midnight last night to usher in the long awaited arrival of Sony’s PlayStation Vita.

Thousands of consumers across the country attended a number of midnight openings to be amongst the first to get their hands on the device.

GAME’s Oxford Street store hosted the official launch event while Sony’s Vita Rooms base in Oxford Street welcomed a number of journalists and senior Sony execs to celebrate the launch.
