Just Cause 3 won’t have microtransactions, dev insists

Just Cause 3 will not contain microtransactions, nor will it be a free-to-play game, says developer Avalance Studios.

The new game, announced yesterday, will instead be a traditional retail game for Xbox One, PS4 and PC next year, with a full game download also available.

"Like most games, this one went through an exploratory phase where we looked at different control schemes, different technologies, different business models,"Avalanche co-founder and CCO Christofer Sundberg toldEurogamerof leaked screenshots detailing potential IAPs."Those… screenshots show aspects of that process, an in no way reflect the game we are making today."
