Kanye West is making a video game

Rapper and celebrity Kanye West has said he is making a video game.

West told Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club, in a video you can see below, that he was personally heading up development of the title, work on which has been ongoing for six months.

It takes inspiration from his most recent single Only One, which features Paul McCartney, which is a tribute to West’s daughter told from the perspective of his mother, who passed away in 2007.

Explained West: "Right now I’m working on a video game for Only One. The idea is that it’s my mother going through the gates of heaven, and you’ve got to bring her to the highest gates of heaven by holding her to the light.”

There’s not yet any indication of when the game could be released or on which platforms.
