Kickstarter title Mighty No.9 set for September release

Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune’s Kickstarter title Mighty No.9 is coming to physical and digital retail this September.

The game is launching on PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, PS3, 360 and PC on September 18th in the UK, with Vita and 3DS SKUs to come at a later date.

And publisher Deep Silver is helping to bring the title to retail, as well.

According to an FAQ on the game’s website, teaming up with Deep Silver allowed the developers to add in an additional level, boss battle and character.

That’s as well as two additional voice-over languages (French and Japanese), and subtitles for Spanish, French, Italian, German, Russian and Polish.

The title will also get physical releases courtesy of this partnership for PS4, Xbox One, Wii U and PC.

Mighty No.9 raised over $3.8m on Kickstarter, before developer Comcept opened up another round of funding via PayPal last July.
