Killzone 2 dated in UK

After announcing yesterday that a PS3 hardware bundle featuring the game

is heading to the UK

, SCEE has now confirmed that long-awaited FPS Killzone 2 will be released on February 27th.

That’s the same date the game will arrive at retail in North America, and has been presumed to be the European release date for quite some time – however, until now the official line has been that the UK market should expect it around the same timeframe”.

The 80GB hardware bundle, featuring a PS3 console, DualShock 3 pad and a copy of the game, will go on sale on the same day.
