Eidos life president asserts that the IP remains â??IO Interactiveâ??s babyâ??

Livingstone denies Rocksteady Hitman deal

Eidos life president Ian Livingstone has cooled speculation that London-based developer Rocksteady Studios is working on the next Hitman game.

Links between the Eidos-owned Hitman IP and Rocksteady surfaced last week via the CV of an actor claiming to have performed motion capture work for the title. The actor’s resume listed ‘Hitman 5’ as being developed by Rocksteady.

When approached by this, Livingstone told PWGM,

“This is the first I’ve heard about it. Hitman always has been and always will be IO Interactive’s baby, which it still continues to be so. Rocksteady are not involved with the development of Hitman 5."
