Maxis to release social game ‘by end of July’

EA developer Maxis is working on a new social games to release by the end of this quarter, it has been revealed.

As reported by CVG, the timescale would mean that the game would be released by the end of July.

No further details were disclosed about the nature of the title, although given the studio’s work on the next SimCity, the new social game could relate to the rebooted franchise.



As well as a Maxis title, EA also revealed that two more social games were currently in development at PopCap and PlayFish.
