MCV AWARDS 2013: Sales Triumph nod for Minecraft

Minecraft won an MCV Award last night.

The 360 version of the popular digital download game was named Sales Triumph.

Minecraft on 360 has been a bestseller on Xbox, and likely the format’s best selling single-format game for the last 12 months. It has held the number one spot pretty consistently since its debut last year.

The 360 version is a port of the PC original by Scottish outfit 4J put together in association with original creator Mojang.

Minecraft was one of 18 winners at the MCV Awards last night.
